Description of Imodium Plus Caplets - 6:
	Imodium Plus Caplets are capsule shaped tablets that are ideal to take if you have difficulty swallowing tablets. They act quickly to restore normal bowel function and allow you to continue your planned daily activities with confidence. Imodium Plus works by making the stools more solid and less frequent. The anti-diarrhoeal effect of Imodium Plus starts to be seen within one hour in patients with acute diarrhoea. Imodium Plus can also be used to treat episodes of diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome after a diagnosis by the doctor has been made. If prescribed by a doctor Imodium Plus can also be used to treat long-lasting (chronic) diarrhoea in adults.

Warning:
	• Do not use if you have ever had a rash or other allergic reaction to Loperamide HCl. • Do not use if you have bloody or black stools. • Consult your doctor before use, if you have a fever, mucus in the stool or a history of liver disease. • Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking antibiotics. • Do not use if you are pregnant or breast feeding, except on your doctor's advice. • Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. • If diarrhoea persists for longer than 48 hours consult your doctor

Directions:
	*Adults:* should take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. *Children aged 12-18 years:* Take one tablet initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours. *Children aged under 12 years:* Not recommended.

Side Effect:
	• Dry mouth • Fatigue • Dizziness • Nausea and vomiting • Paralysis or inactivity of the intestine that stops the movement of material through the gut (paralytic ileus) • Skin reactions such as rash and itch • Abdominal pain • Constipation • Bloating
